Yes. MacBook screen repairs and battery replacements are two of our most common Mac jobs. A swollen battery can push the trackpad up or lift the case, so stop using the Mac and bring it in as soon as you notice it.
We treat your files with care, but a backup is always the safest option. If you can, run a Time Machine backup before you drop your Mac off. If your Mac will not start, we can often recover photos and documents from the drive.
Bring the power adapter and, if the job involves software, your Mac admin password written on paper (please don’t send it by email or text). That saves time and gets your Mac back to you sooner.
