Look, I get it. Getting your content out there is hard.

Whether you’re running a YouTube channel, a podcast, a gaming stream, a blog, or anything in between — the moment you try to get listed anywhere, someone’s got their hand out. Directories want a subscription. Promotional sites want a fee. Everyone’s trying to monetise your hustle before you’ve even had a chance to build one.

So here’s what we’re doing differently.

Free Listings. Genuinely Free.

As Lithgeek, we’re putting together a page dedicated to local content creators — and we’re listing you for nothing. No fee, no catch, no “premium tier” you have to upgrade to for basic visibility.

When we say local, we mean it broadly. Orange, Penrith, Oberon, Bilpin, Portland — if you’re in New South Wales and you’re within an hour or two’s drive, come drop by the shop at 85 Main Street in Lithgow and we’ll get you on the list.

A Few Ground Rules

We want to keep this thing good, so there are a few basics:

  • We’re apolitical. None of that. We’re not a platform for anyone’s political agenda.
  • Follower count doesn’t matter. One follower or a million — we don’t care. You’re getting listed either way.
  • No hate speech, no adult content. We’re keeping this family friendly.
  • Gaming content gets priority placement. We’re a tech and gaming shop, so if your content is gaming-related, we’ll bump you up the list. Makes sense, right?

What Else Can We Do For You?

If you drop by, we’re happy to talk through whatever you need. Better microphone, better computer, advice on growing your audience, help getting a blog started — we can point you in the right direction, and if you want to look at gear or need some training, we can help with that too.

But here’s the important bit: if you’ve already got everything sorted, we’re still going to list you. Already have your equipment? Great. Already have a mate who handles all that stuff? Also great. It makes no difference. The listing is free regardless.

This isn’t a lead-generation scheme dressed up as community spirit. It’s just a list of local creators, because local creators deserve a bit of support, and we’re in a position to offer it.

If it turns into a sale — good, that keeps the lights on. But if it doesn’t? That’s fine too.

Come say hi.
