Warhammer Community Gallery: Miniatures Painted by the Lithgeek Crew
Real models, painted by real hobbyists from Lithgow and the Blue Mountains.
Welcome to the Lithgeek Warhammer community gallery — a showcase of Warhammer miniatures built and painted by our customers. Everything on this page was assembled, primed and painted by someone who shops with us, games with us on Thursday nights, or picked up their first brush at our Main Street shop in Lithgow.
Some of these models are competition-level, some are first attempts, and plenty are somewhere in between. That’s the point. This gallery celebrates everyone in our local Warhammer community — the veterans coming back to the hobby after decades away, the kids painting their very first Space Marine, and everyone experimenting with new techniques along the way.
Take a look through, get inspired for your next project, and if you’ve painted something you’re proud of, we’d love to add it to the wall.
Every skill level
First-timers sit right next to seasoned painters. No paint job is too simple to share.
Every faction
Space Marines, Orks, Necrons, Aeldari, Tyranids — whatever you collect, show it off.
Local hobbyists
Painted by people from Lithgow, Blackheath, Katoomba and across the Central West.

How to Get Your Painted Models in the Gallery
Sharing your work is easy, and it doesn’t matter whether you bought the kit from us or not — if you’re part of the local hobby scene, you’re welcome here.
1. Snap a photo
Take a clear, well-lit photo of your finished model or squad. A phone camera is perfect.
2. Email it to us
Send it to [email protected] with the model name, faction, and the name or handle you’d like credited.
3. Or bring it in
Bring your model to the shop or to Thursday night gaming and we’ll take the photo for you.
4. See it online
We’ll add it to the gallery and may share it on our socials so the community can see it too.
Tips for Photographing Your Miniatures
- Use soft, even light. Daylight near a window or a desk lamp bounced off white card beats a harsh overhead light.
- Keep the background plain. A sheet of white, grey or black paper makes the paint job pop.
- Get down to eye level. Shoot the model from its own height rather than from above.
- Tap to focus on the face. On a phone, tap the model’s head or helmet so the detail is sharp.
- Send a few angles. Front, back and a close-up of any freehand or detail work are always welcome.
